How to Raise an SOS Ticket

  2. 2Register or log in to your IDSA account to access the SOS module.
  3. 3Open the Emergency & SOS section from your dashboard and select the relevant category.
  4. 4Describe your situation clearly. The IDSA coordination team will receive your ticket and respond based on priority and operator availability.
  5. 5Track your ticket status from the My SOS Tickets section. You will receive platform notifications on updates.

Is IDSA SOS a replacement for 112?

No. IDSA SOS is a coordination and support platform. For police, ambulance, or fire emergencies in India, call 112 immediately. IDSA SOS supplements — it does not replace — government emergency services.

Who can raise an SOS ticket?

Any registered IDSA user can raise an SOS ticket. Guest or anonymous access is not available for SOS. Registration is free and takes a few minutes.

What happens after I raise a ticket?

Your ticket is logged in the IDSA SOS queue and assigned to a coordination operator based on category and priority. You will receive updates via your IDSA dashboard and platform notifications. Response times are not guaranteed.

Is IDSA SOS a government service?

What about Digital & Financial SOS?

For cybercrime and financial fraud, you can also report directly to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or call 1930. IDSA SOS provides coordination support alongside these official channels.
